GL Precision Tube, Inc. focuses its efforts on  providing  its customers premium quality electric-weld steel tubing at competitive prices. Our capabilities consist of round, square, rectangular, and oval steel tubing beginning at .709" diameter and running through 3.000" diameter, with wall thicknesses from 20 gauge through 10 gauge.  Steel grades produced include C-1008/1010 through C-1022, as well as High Strength, Low Alloy steels.  Along with complying with all destructive tests specified by ASTM A-513 specifications, we confirm weld integrity by Eddy Current Testing all tubing we produce.  Our capabilities include the ability to produce "cut-to-length" parts on the mill, which helps eliminate the need for secondary (and more costly) re-cutting operations.  When needed, however, in addition to our tube manufacturing capabilities, we offer high-speed tube re-cutting and end finishing.  We also offer LaserQuality tubing guaranteed to meet the special straightness and twist tolerances that are required for laser processing.  We are committed to providing the tubing consumer a superior product combined with exceptional service.  Our strategic location in Aurora, Illinois (30 miles west of Chicago) provides us quick and competitive delivery access to our customers in the greater Midwestern region, along with many other areas within the eastern portion of the United States. Please refer to our applications  page that highlights some of the many markets that use tubing produced by GL Precision Tube, Inc.
